TO THE SENIORS In 1964, you and I were first- year WMC students together. You worked to gain the knowl- edge, skills, and personal attrib- utes to qualify for the title of Doctor; I to learn more about the special opportunities and problems of women medical stu- dents and physicians, in order to help make WMC truly the place where fulfillment of those oppor- tunities can begin, and where so- lutions to those problems can be found. We have all made progress on our self-appointed tasks; we still have much ahead of us. Let ' s wish each other success. On behalf of all the faculty, administrative officers, and the Board of Corporators, I want to say to each of you Best wishes for a successful career. Glen R. Leymaster, M.D. President and Dean

There have been many innovations at Wom- an ' s Medical College in the past four years. Some have been the contributions of one man. This in- dividual, a man of action and enthusiasm, will be remembered by us all. Yes, Doctor Bouzarth. In spite of your busy practice, active research, and numerous delegations, you still have time for the students. Each of us recalls, with nostalgia, her big day in dog lab as chief surgeon, giving orders to the whole surgical staff. Each of us is also very grateful for the financial aid that made possible our school newspaper, a long awaited means of student expression. Your lecturing and your training in the han- dling of emergency situations, such as mass casu- alty and severe head trauma, has been so thor- ough, that we feel confident we can act quickly to meet such situations, when the occasion arises. Who of us will ever forget, No skull x-rays at night (at WMC), dilatation, dilantin — stat — 100 mg. I.V. and If you have any questions, call me at any time. Yes, Uncle Willie, your humor and even your ire are a part of us now. William Francis Bou- zarth, with respect and affection, the class of 1967 dedicates their book to you.
