' ! It is the aim of the class of 1966 to give rec- ognition to such a diligent worker. Mrs. Dorothy R. Peuser is known to all as the one who fulfills the various duties assigned to her as College Reg- istrar. But not well known is the amount of extra time she continually devotes to counseling the students on problems they face in their trek through medical school. Even in the face of sundry respon- sibilities, she takes time to see any student earnestly requiring her help. Though often tired and drained by work, she keeps her best foot forward with a smile and cheerful voice. It is therefore with pride that We, the Class of 1966, dedicate this year- book to Mrs. Dorothy R. Peuser, a great lady and a friend. To the Seniors The past four years have surely in- cluded the most important years of your lives. No similar period could have been so filled with maturing and challenging experiences and with opportunities for extending your horizons. If you have really learned how to learn ,, the years to come will see the continuation of your pro- fessional growth. I believe you have, and that each succeeding year will find you better and wiser physicians. For the faculty, and for myself, I want to extend our best wishes for a successful career to each one of you. Glen R. Leymaster, M.D. President and Dean Doris G. Bartuska, M.D. Irene E. So it is that the quest for answers is persistently lifting the veil. You young doctors enthusiastic with the zeal of practice are endorsed with all the answers we have to offer. You are understandably proud of your accomplish- ments, and so are we. However, as knowl- edge is tempered by time to wisdom, walk humbly in the shadow of the Great Healer and be a modern miracle worker to those in need. 47 ii JLZSi ■■■aummmmamm ■at m§ ►. ££ y d 3te 3 S± b 0Q;aim onides j ■Hii ■£ h Y ..—••• ' --..; C 3 - . b — •• a Lg-ggLBLgg-ja a tiu eternal providence has appointed me to toatch oocr the lift and health of Chg $ creatures rs fUag the lobe for mg art actuate me at all times; , mag neither aoarice noe£ miserliness, nor thirst for glory, or for a great d reputation engage mg mind; for the enemies of troth and philanthropy could easily dccctoc me and make ,mc forgetful of mg loftg aim of doing pod to Chg children flQag Inetier see in the patient angthing hot a felloto creature in ' pain J Grant me ' £ Strength, time and opportunity altoays to correct tohat Ihaoe acquired, altoags to extend its domain; ' for knowledge is immense am) the spirit of man can extend infinitely to enrich itself daily ttrith neto requirements B Codag he can discount his errors ; of yesterday and tomorrow he mag obtain a netp ( light on tohat he thinks! himself sore of todag® © v O ,6ofl, Choo hast appointed me to batch otter the lift and death of Chg creatures; here amX •rcadg for mg notation, and notoltorn unto mg calling. internships . .
