Our entire class was put on campus for singing fwaking up fourth floor in the process-minor detail of coursel: our entire class was campused for the second time in one year-this time roller skating in the halls of Ann Preston. Remember when-conscientious Heb needed a procedure for cutting toenails: Branton fell off the OR. stool during surgery and landed in a most unprofessional pose: Danny's hair went up in flames over the bunsen burner: Gay knocked over Dr. Leibfried's prep tray in the DR.: Bradish had laryngitis and couldn't talk: Batson wasn't quitting? Remember when-Catano as scrub nurse asked, MDL Sutures, do we need any more Mathises?,': Krahel used deodorant for toothpaste and toothpaste for de- odorant: Hardy blew up the stove boiling water: King tripped Dr. Macfarlane in the elevator: Brownie locked King in the morgue: Davy used Pride to clean the clinics: Walsh wasnit soaking her feet: Branton threw a bedpan down the laundry chute: Kis woke up with a smile: Murdzais pet snake escaped: Michaels wasn't packing: Halstead met a man in the shower: Kis became a mau-mau. Remember when-Branton and Ditten were locked in Byberry: Czupich threw a patient's girdle down the laundry Chute and had to find it: Krahel uttered, Dr. Sponge, are you ready for your Lund count?7': Essie raided the maid's icebox at Friendisz Smitty wasn't knitting socks for male admirers: it wasn't a good movie unless Melatti cried: Goodie was fat: Walker passed up a sale: Davy Wasn't losing her undergarments: Ditten washed Walshis clothes fcr twenty-four hours and they came out lavender: Miller wasn't hungry: Owen wasn't chewing her nails in the OR.: Willie took funny books on her honeymoon: Hardy found her mattress on third floor: King fainted on top of one of the doctors at Muni: we were always broke? Can we ever forget-Peanut butter and jelly in the lounge: our library in the john: those cider parties: ledge-walking: food and fun at Kellyisg Branton and Hebal taking showers: sleeping on the roof: that Pepsi machine: yellow sheets: getting weighed: Roland: jazz sessions in the hall: being fingerprinted: talking jags in the lounge: Mrs. Aiken pushing us onward: Christmas of 1956 and our first tree in the lounge: ever-watchful Mrs. Spears: conscientious mothern: dear old P.T.I.: Mrs. Bennis and her long lasting buzz: rough, red hands at Muni. Can we ever forget-overtime: jones Memorial: our senior prom: Friend's or Muni: dieting: going through the laundry looking for studs and name pins: cap- ping: the Alden: babysitting: Christmas caroling at 6 a.m.: bake sales: the May Fe-te: burglars: watching TV in the rec. room: goodnights on the doorsteps of Ann Preston: the Forum: spying through the lounge windows in the dark: borrow- ing clothes: being depressed: mail call at 11 a.m.: apples: our Halloween party: the indispensable radio: goodies from home: the Christmas parties: when the lights went out: writing letters in class: those well read textbooks and A.J.N.'s: losing our keys: big sisters: overdue library books: swimming at the Y.W.C.A. in Cer- mantown: shopping in Center City: and student health. Last but not least. Miss Schaller. who coached us over the rough spots and was a friend to us all. Class Prophecy Traveling is fun. I guess my greatest ambition as a student nurse was to tour the wide exciting world. So, boarding a plane in New York, I was welcomed by the stewardess, Barb Walker, who told me that Gert Michaels had been chosen speaker of the house-her house. Arriving in Paris, I was so excited I almost failed to see Betty Ann Catano on the left bank, easel in hand, painting sun tan lotion advertisements. Across the way on the right bank was Betty Hebal, who had finally attained her life-long ambition -selling autoclaves. Watching a bullfight in Spain, I was quite astonished to find that Sue Branton had finally been proclaimed National Matador of the month. Entering Kitty Melatti's Italian restaurant was certainly no problem, for I was greeted at the door by the proprietor herself. She told me that her cook, Catherine Bradish, was eating up the profits. She also told me that Goody had talked her way into the Kremlin and couldnft get out. Glancing across the tables at Monte Carlo, I saw Danny Martin, who had just lost quite a large sum of money, and was contemplating the sale of her new yacht. On reaching the dark continent, I was surprised to find that a revolution had taken place. Terrorist Barb Walsh had taken over the tribal dance and was now promoting rock and roll much to the dismay of Maryann Kisalosky, who had just been chosen Queen of the Mau-Maus. Egypt is an exotic land. There I found Helen Gay resting by the beautiful Nile and Mary Ann Davis, who, in order to keep from being bitten, was reluctantly feeding her Lebanon bologna to the crocodiles. Trudging through sand dunes in Arabia certainly was no fun. My lips were very parched when suddenly a mirage before me turned out to be Bella Owens' lavender house. When she asked me in for a drink, she told me that Ditten had gotten a job picking tea leaves in Ceylon, I was not too surprised. In India, I managed an audience with Mary Murdza, snake charmer personified, who had finally found her snake, now king size. Who should I meet on the street, but Alice Czupich wearing her favorite sari with the fringe on top. Need a taxi in Australia? Try Connie Hardy's-faster than Kangaroo Volks- wagon! In Germany, I found Bev Williams, just voted G. I. mother of the year, with her nine children, and in Hawaii, Mary Lee Miller sitting on the beach playing her ukulele. Returning to the United States, I made my first stop in Kentucky. When I saw Nancy King and Helen Krahel come galloping up on their donkeys, I left. In North Carolina, Brownie took me on a tour of her new home-a converted Navy sub- marine. Jeanne Halstead's Pharmacy on the next corner was quite appealing. A sign read, 4'Big sale today. Darvon Compound-3 capsules for 35.987 Essie Folk's Ipana smile was sweeping the country and there Was no doubt she would be made president of the company before long. It was really good to be back in States again for I found Nancy Smith still knitting, knitting, knitting, and Bev Batson, now Directress of Nursing, still quitting, quitting, quitting. funior Class FIRST ROW. left to right: S.
