HIST llllll We, the Class ot l946 of the Woman's Medical College Hospital, School of Nursing, Philadelphia. Pennsylvania. being ot apparently sound mind and memory do hereby conjure, declare, and publish this, our last Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say: We bequeath to all succeeding classes our efficiency on the floors, our incomparable record in the classroom, our skill in handling patients. To posterity, we leave the memory of three years of service in the Cadet Nurse Corps, the fun we've had wearing the uniform-especially at the U.S.O. To the younger students and yet unborn generations goes our beloved Harkness House: Mrs. Hirst, Miss Bell, Mrs. Sexton, Sophie and Tom, buns on Sunday morning, the ring around the third floor bath-tub, and at least halt of the parlor iokes we've acquired in training. We leave you our dear little bus. bounces included. and its driver, Brooks, who has taken such good care ot us through the years. Along with them, go a spare tire and monkey wrench-just in case! To the Juniors, we leave our turn on night duty in the Nursery--hoping tor a census less than thirty-tive. Also to you, we give Maternity nights with two deliveries at 6:45 a.m. To the Freshman, we leave the experience and diversion ot the hospital services- pre-natal clinic with titty patients, the OR. and un-ending carbolizing-the D.K. with glucose lemonade and diabetic diets. To the probies, a gallon of the midnight oil we burned in vain, the precious Sundays we used to get off, our maidenly modesty long since disappeared, the hours we stood in line tor breakfast.
