Sigma Theta Tau is the only national honor so- ciety of nursing in the United States . Constitu- tent chapters are established in collegiate schools of nursing accredited by the national ac- crediting body recognized by the profession. Sigma Theta Tau is an educational force , stand- ing for the best in nursing, and making tangible contributions to the school and the profession through its help in the preparation of leaders.
