ART CLUB The Art Club earned money throughout the year by selling bulletin boards, seed necklaces, papier mache' obj ects and jewelry to finance a field trip to Eugene, Oregon. There they visited the U. of Oregon's art department, museum and Student Union Gallery . They also visited several local galleries and interesting boutiques. Many art club members also helped create sets for Bye Bye Birdie, put up bulletin boards for other teachers, and made sterling silver rings for them- selves, The art club display Window Won first prize in the Spirit Day competition. Steve Cosler gets off to a fast start at Mt, Ashland. .tm Radio club members discuss operating techniques. Members of the Art Club busily silk screen posters for the Thespian production of Snow White. SNGW MADS Mid High Snomads is one of the most enthusiastic clubs with membership of 150, exceeding all other clubs, Sno- mads sponsored ski trips to the Mt. Ashland ski area each weekend and a dance in December. The advisor was Mr. McReynolds. RADIG CLUB K7YAQ are the call numbers of the Mid High Radio Club, organized under the direction of Mr, Bayne, The main objectives are to learn the international code and to broadcast on the amateur radio bands. 55

l GERMAN CLUB Students taking German form the Deutscher Klub to promote interest in the German culture. Mrs. Smith is the club ad- visor, Officers are Paul Ely, Paula Greer, Pam Mercer, and Diane Eisenstein. Club activities included speakers, fund raising sales, and displays. The Mid High Russian Club fChaika Committeej was organized during the 1967-1968 school year to encourage a better under- standing of Russian.
