Mr. Bork directs the Mid High Band during a rehearsal, John Solberg plays his French horn with ease as he d watches his music during band practice. This year the Mid High Band has been in many events such as the Veterans' Day Parade and the Pear Blossom Parade. They have entertained people in large group contests and con- certs. The band has represented our school by playing at some of the games and have backed up the pep squad. The Stage Band, under the direction of Mr, Bork, has play ed for the students entertainment in homerooms. They also have participated in the Washington School Fun Night, Members of the Mid High Stage Band pose for a picture.

SOPHOMORE CHORUS The Freshman and Sophomore Choirs have had a full year of various activities. They participated in the Christmas program and the operetta Bye Bye Birdie, as Well as several small programs. Miss Hill is the director of the Freshman Choir and Mr. Graber is the director of the Sophomore Choir. Membership for the choir is determined by a student's singing ability. FRESHMAN CHORUS
