Paperwork such as Writing out daily announcements, keeping attendance re cords, and handling student schedules are performed by these ladies. They also do various jobs such as making appointments and typing for Mr. McDonald and Mr, Kautz. Mrs. Eleanor Piche, who was a teachers' aide earlier in the year is now the records clerk. Taking roll in homeroom, typing tests, and duplicating papers are jobs performed by Mrs. Bonnie Morris, Mrs. Margaret Simmons, Mrs. Dickie Wright, and Miss Debbie Clark, who are teachers' aides. Mrs. Wright also does art Work for the teachers. Also on the clerical staff is Mrs. Marjorie Johanson who is the bookkeeper at Mid High. Mrs. Johanson Works in the activity office. She handles all the money that is received from the students for various activities conducted on the Mid High campus. Attendance records are kept by Mrs. Beverly Kalams, the attendance clerk. The book clerk at Mid High is Mrs. June Metzer, Mrs. Helen Crumpton is the nurse at Mid High. ! Jim Herman wonders which

H was W Mrs. Edith Wempen, Sophomore Girls. Counselors Mrs, Dora Scheidecker, Freshman Girls. Mr. John Kovenz, Freshman Boys. Counselors at Mid High have a variety of tasks to perform throughout the year. They are kept busy with the trials and tri- bulations of the students from September to June. Their major task is to help the students in their personal and social adjustments. The counselors are continuously counseling and working on the students' educational and occupational planning. Both freshman and sophomore counselors Work on the students' schedules to ready the schedules for the final processing by the IBM computer, They try to meet with all the students to discuss their results on the Iwoa, Kuder and other tests. Group counseling is another service offered in the counseling center. The counselors meet with six to eight students to talk about anything the students Want to talk about. They occasionally visit the homerooms to present programs about counseling center and registration for classes.
