The officers elected were Ieanne Schupp- President, Clarence Durr- Vice-President, and Ioan Kalmon- Secretary- Treasurer. Miss Niland and Mr. Evans were Freshman Class advisors. The main event of the year was the Freshman Hop with the theme Cruising Down the River . Elected as sophomore officers were Don Lekie- President, Kay Leonhardt- Vice-presi- dent, Marjorie Carlson- Secretary, and Pat Herman- Treasurer. Miss Keuthe and Mr. Tschudy acted as class advisors. The big achievement of the sophomore year was the Sophomore Frolic whose theme was Dreamer's Ho iday. In the election of the Junior Class Joanne Miller was chosen president, and ArdenSands- nes- Vice-president. Serving as secretary was Ruth Derouin and Marilyn Brunner as Treasurer Acting as Junior class advisors were Mrs. Schraufnagel and Mr. Scheurell. The Junior Class spent much of their time and artistic ability in decorating the halls for Christmas. One of the main activities was the sponsorinlge of the annual Christmas Dance in December which has as its theme 'Rudolph the Red Nosed indeer. Under the direction of Miss Pederson the class play Western Union P1ease was pre- sented. 'Moonlight and Roses' was the theme of the Prom another important event of the year. Jerome Pemsteiner and Barbara McCarron reigned as king and queen. At the opening of the senior year Arden Sandsnes was elected president. Vice-president was Don Lekie and Barbara McCarron- Secretary-Treasurer. Mrs, Gall and Mr. Hedlund were Senior Class advisors. November 9 was the date selected for the Sadie Hawkins Dance. On January 4, the Senior class sponsored a Leap Year Dance. Marlene Moore and Bern- ard Wendt reigned as queen and king. The dramatic three-act play 'Angel Sueet' was presented on January 21 under the di- rection of Miss Pederson. At commencement exercises on May 20 the Class of '52 bade farewell to Medford High School.
