The officers Were: Cabby Wild, Pres- ident, Tom Strama, Vice-President, and Donna Brost, Secretary-Treasurer. The big activity of the year was the Freshman Hop Whose theme was April Showers? In the Sophomore year Dick Ruesch was elect- ed President, Don Helberg was Vice-President, and Henrietta Gebert acted as Secretary-Treas- urer. The main event of the year was the Soph- omore Frolic which had as its theme Under- neath the Arches. At the election of officers for the junior Class, Mimi Hodge was chosen President, Don Sack- man, Vice-President, and Donna Nelson, Sec- retary-Treasurer. Winter WVonderland,' was the theme of the well attended Christmas Dance sponsored by the juniors. The Class Play, Little Womenf, was directed by Miss Bottom row: Bruegl, Treasurer, D. Sackmann, President, C. Brost, Secretary. Second row: R. Frischman, Vice-President, Mr. Hedlund SENICR CLASS HISTCRY Bender. Vernon Pernsteiner and Nancy Mun- son reigned as King and Queen at the Junior Prom which had as its theme In An Old Dutch Gardenf' The Senior year opened with Don Sackman elected President, Ronnie Frischman, Vice- President, and Caroline Brost, Secretary-Treas- urer. Its Advisors were Mrs. Call and Mr. Hed- lund. November 10 was the date of the Sadie Hawk- ins Dance. The date selected for the Senior Ball was january 11, presented under the theme of Harbor Lightsf' Class President, Don Sack- man, reigned as King. On December 7, 'Tishf' a three-act comedy by Mary Roberts Rinehart Was presented. The Class of 1951 bade farewell to Medford High School at commencement exercises on May 17. 10
