daily problems with deans The calm and humor wifh which Mrs. Grace Berg runs her office make her an appreciafed member of fhe school adminisfrafion. As Dean of Girls her dufies are mulfifudinous and varied. All new girls are channeled fhrough her office: fhe Friendship Club, which welcomes and aids all in- coming girls, is under her direcfion. Senior inferviews, in which every girl sees her high school records, are held in fhe friendly, relaxed afmosphere of fhe Dean of Girls' office. Mrs. Berg is in charge of all her girls' affendance- fhe excuses, records, and problems. Af noon, she pafrols fhe lunchroom, keep- ing a wafchful eye ouf for infracfions of school rules. As a member of fhe guidance sfaff, fhe Dean helps sfeer girls info successful careers. Mrs. Berg has managed fo carry her heavy load graciously and eguably, an admirable feaf, considering ifs giganfic propor- fions.
