Senior Class of i948 ,fllfficlf ALBERT BRAUN BARBARA somsk JACKIE RHYMES Nw X 'ox Vice-President Secretary Treasurer XR. 5 , Tgenior class of i948 has been noted for its achievements throughout grade school and high school in xg activities as well as in scholarship. XX iYNAdvised by Mrs. Cox and Mr. Mentzer, who have guided them, the students have worked together to pro- uce an un sually keen school spirit. The senior fficers are Bob Shangle, Albert Braun, Barbara Bottier, Jackie Rhymes, and Bill Mumbach. ln scholarship the seniors have consistently placed many students on the honor roll and reached the record number of thirty-one in January. The eleven seniors chosen to compete for the Pepsi-Cola scholarships were Albert Braun, Bill Mumbach, Bob Fries, Bob Pearson, Leslie Webber, Mary Sue Greene, Phyllis Stauffer, Shirley Woodburn, Ann Butler, Mary Virginia Wait, and Charity Williams. A number of senior boys played varsity football under the coptaincy of Tom Mottern and Joe Fliegel. These two were chosen for the Southern-Oregon Conference team. Seniors participated in basketball, baseball, and track. The senior class voted to graduate in caps and gowns following the Class of i947 which broke the tradition of formals and white coats. The two hundred and fifteen seniors may be proud of their record in high school and look forward to achieving still more in the future. mu MUMBACH MRS. COX MR.
