The foundation of this education is laid through allowing the students to govern themselves. The law- making body is known as the Student Council. lt is made up of the more important elected and appointed student officers. Presiding at Student Council meetings during the T946-T947 school year was Bill Moffat, president of the Associated Student Body. He was ably assisted by the other A. S. B. officers, Bill Singler, vice-president, JoeAnne Gilmore, secretory, Virginia Long, treasurer, and David Dow, business manager. The remainder of the council was made up of the officers of the more outstanding school organizations.
