Sllllllll HllVlSllllS Two people deserve special commendation for the fnne record left by the graduating class of l944 They are the class counselors Mrs Gladys Herron and Mr Ed Knrtley They can feel proud of having performed in such an excellent manner the important work of guiding this group through the past three years lt has not been easy either records Equally important was their task of steering the class away from trouble and helping it over the rough spots With thought for tomorrow for a world at war and also for the necessity of training vouth in particular skills these two have strived to the utmost to prepare this class to meet the world under the present conditions Besides offering classroom education the modern school systems attempt to develop and mold good character in the students The burden of this work rests primarily on the counselors who must be keen ludges of personalities and well able to gave beneficial advice On behalf of this graduating class may we say Thank you Mrs Herron and Mr Kirtley GLADYS HERRON ED KIRTI-EY filling out schedu'es, acting as advisers, and keeping all kinds of
