Mr. Benson came by in his sleigh to show Papa his new horse. They named her Beauty, ond I con see why. After a little begging, he invited us all to hop on — and off we went! The wind felt so fresh and clean when it hit my face. A sleigh ride is one of my most favorite things. As we passed near town we could hear the bells from the church — they seemed to be ringing to the whole world. Afterward little Timothy ran to get the big Bible. With such tiny arms he could hardly corry it all by himself. He brought it to Grand- father and said, “Read me the story. Grandpa — Please read me the story.” Christmas is over. The whole day was just wonderful. I don't know what else to say — Christmas — was Christmas — It was Just Christmas. Good-will and peace on earth ... I guess that's the ultimate dream of all man- kind, and yet that dream will never be a real- ity until every heart knows the Prince of Peace Himself. Christmas can be the most wonder- ful, the most exciting, and the most joyful time of the whole year — A Christmas that’s JUST CHRISTMAS. A plain and simple OLD-FASH- IONED CHRISTMAS. 5 CARDINAL Pfeofjfe 1980 WILL ROGERS 100th BIRTHDAY HOSTAGES ARE HELD IN IRAN MAMIE EISENHOWER DIED NOV. 2 STAFFORD GETS DEATH SENTENCES CARTER-KENNEDY PRIMARY RACE REAGAN-BUSH-ANDERSON PRIMARY RACE SENIOR FAREWELL We, the Senior Class of M.H.S., 1980, have finally partaken in our long awaited com- mencement exercises. Our commencement was our last gathering as a class. Some of us laughed, some of us cried. No matter what our outward attitude we expressed, most of us hod an inner regret. Seventeen of us spent our high school years at M.H.S. It is here that we grew up. It is here that we learned, and here that we made our friends. It is hard for us to accept the fact that we will not be returning to school this fall as one of the familiar faces in the crowd of stu- dents who line the hall of dear old M.H.S. We did many trivial things then and did not think about them but in the future we will cherish the remembrance of the things we did as stu- dents of M.H.S. As we enter into the world of young, as well as that of old, we hope that those we leave behind at Medford High School will strive to keep our school among the best and make us proud to have been a part of it. r QiiuMA 1980 j i II Aebi, Kathy Arterburn, Cindy Blubaugh, Danny Blubaugh, Lori Bowman, Roger Cink, Brad Fetters, Steve Fitch, Monty Hajek, Sandy Hogan, John Hula, John Goforth, Sherry Johnson, Cindy Kennedy, Rhett Kilian, Gary Kilian, Rita Kretchmar, Jill Kretchmar, Robin Kretchmar, Scott Magnus, Monty Markus, Jan Peacock, Tracy Proctor, Becky Ripper, Hal Robertson, Cynthia Smetana, Tim Stout, Loren Winter, Lisa Ziba, Tammy 8 fc - -ir Qcbocl POASOtUifiJs -r Campbell, Glen Principal Case, Larry Art Collier, Norma Dishwasher Cox, Charles Cross Guard Cox, Christine Bus Driver Davis, Pauline Custodian Dechant, Beth Title I LA Delay, Betty Cook Dell, Darrell Bus Driver Dell, Theresa Special Ed.
