FORMER GOVERNOR, DAVID HALL, visited the school early in the year. He spoke on the importance of education in general, and of the quality of Okla- homa's educational facilities, then an- swered questions from students and other member's of the community. MEDFORD TEACHERS started the year of accountability by writing their be- havioral objectives for each of their classes. The school also underwent eval- uation by the North Central evaluation Committee, during which time the cur- riculum and activities of the school were examined and rated by a committee of students and teachers from different school organizations, then by a com- mittee of teachers and personnel from the State Department of Education. THE KOCH OIL COMPANY, by increas- ing capacity and number of employees, also increased the population of Medford. These families, and other newcomers to the community put the enrollment of the school over the 400 mark. To care for the increased number of students, the administration arranged for a school nurse to work at the school one day a week.
