(Annual jltaff jltaff (JHembers Mildred Truhlar Editor-in-chief Faculty Administration Roxy Beggs Graduates Proof Reader Dear Readers, Jolene Boyer Underclassmen Elementary We of the Cardinal Staff who are about to depart as graduates of 1963 sincerely hope that in future years this issue of the “Cardinal” will be a cherished memento of happy years at Medford High School-a reminder of favorite classmates and of the wonderful hours outside the classroom. For most of us, we have been here for four years of high school. Now we must leave and step out to face an uncertain future. In whatever degree of success or failure we may find ourselves in years to come, if a glance at these pages will lighten our labors-if only for a single moment-we deem our yearbook worthwhile. Each of the students here at Medford High School had a part in making this school year one to be remembered. Each event will be remembered; some were happy occasions, and others sad, but they are made a part of our school career-a time never to be forgotten. In closing we would like to express our appreciation and give recog- nition to those who have helped to make this annual. We hope you will enjoy “The 1962-63 Cardinal.” Pat Solorio Underclassmen Elementary Lois Ann Sprague Dedication Organizations Carolyn Stover Favorites Advertising Manager Carolyn Green Title Page Art Editor Sports Sincerely, Mildred Truhlar Kathy Bruner Business Manager Sports Mr. Guy McCoy Sponsor.

dedication JHr. ob jammer - It is said that some of the best people in our world are not appreciated until they are gone. We, of the Cardinal Annual Staff, because we want to break this tradition, lovingly dedicate the 1963 Annual to Mr. Bob Hammer, a teacher of some and a friend of all, who has given of his time unselfishly for the betterment of our school and community. To this man, who does much, yet says little, we join the student body of Medford High School in saying, “Thanks.” The Cardinal Annual Staff.
