MEDFIELD HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1983 Our Last Farewell to Medfield High. We never thought it would be so hard to say goodbye. We studied hard. We did our best. Once in a while, We flunked a test. We aimed for victory And showed our spirit, Whether we won Or just came near it. In the short time we ' ve been together, Medfield High has become . . . A special part of our lives. The Senior Class of 1983 dedi- cates this yearbook to Mr. Charl es Laverty for his 27 years of dedication to the education of Medfield students. Mr. Lav ' s particular interest in our class and his personal friendships with the students during the past three years is truly appreciated. The Class of 1983 2 Memories Remind Us Of How Much We ' ve Enjoyed the Years. Working hard and always anticipating Senior Year and Graduation. Finally, the awaited moments arrive! Highlights of the season were retaining the much coveted Duncan Watt Memorial Cup against D- S and advancing to the finals in the tournament. GIRL ' S SOCCER The 1982 edition of the Girl ' s Soccer team had a suc- cessful season finishing with a league record of 10-1-5. The team offensively scored 68 goals while allowing only 12 throughout the season. In tournament, the girls won 2 out of 3 games by beating Newton North and Chelms- ford, but lost to Winchester ending the season.
