By working long hours in the class- room you have contributed invaluable knowledge in preparation for our future. Through your countless years of devoted service and patient understanding, you have enabled us to witness a realistic attitude toward life. Although we realize we cannot repay you, we hope that through it we can express our deep appreciation to two people who have been more than teachers to all of us. ' Mrs. Elaine Pederzini Miss Laura Smith In Appreciation For Your Kindness and Interest 3 Superintendent-Mr. Thomas A. Blake Principal-Mr. Charles F. Mains To the Class of 1968: Education is a bridge between man and his work; it is a bridge between the present and the future; it is a bridge between what we are and what we may become— as individuals, as a nation, as a world. Congratulations on the occasion of your first bridge— Graduation from Medfield High School and may the bridge be strengthened by a contin- uing self-evaluation. To the Class of 1968: The education you have received so far should be used to continually better yourself. The world, in its present state, needs people who can think constructively and act positively. One piece of advice which wUl help prepare you for service in this world is; always take your job seriously, never yourself. My personal best wishes for a successful and happy future. Sincerely, Sincerely, T CL Thomas A. Blake Superintendent of Schools Administration Charles F. Student The Christmas Pageant Esen with host brother Rob. Esen Arkis is our American Field Service Student from Izmir, Tur- key. Medfield constitutes a major adjustment from the big city of Iz- mir, and Medfield High School is different from a Turkish boarding school, but Esen has made the adjustment eagerly. America was rather overwhelm- ing for Esen at first, but the sin- cerity and interest shown by all his newly-found friends, helped him to earn the title, “friendliest.” While still stubbornly a Turk, Esen is an avid fan of American movies, tele- vision, and food. However, he has given Medfield an unforgettable gift— a friendly smUe and a warm “Hello.” “Am 1 supposed to understand this?” 53 “If they give me one more book!” • • • The seventh grade line-up. “Instead of washing them, I’ll just hide them here!” “No officer, we aren’t drinking!” Cheerleaders??? “I’m telling you, she’s not my friend now and never will “C’mon baby, let’s do the twist!” 54 And it didn’t win??? So the faster it goes, the easier it is to handle, the tighter it hugs the road. And it has front-wheel drive so you don’t skid on curves, on hills, on ice, in rain or snow. Powered by a 4-cycle, V-4 engine, Sonett V-4 has so much pull you can go from zero to 50 in 9.1 seconds. Do well over 100, flat out. See it now in our showroom.
