BARRY HASTINGS The Senior Class of 1970 having only thirteen members was a very small class. They were little, but loud; small, but proud. Nine of the seniors reflect their past years of Ihgh school at BHS. The remaining four were students at PVHS. Their senior year at Mecklenburg Academy may be remembered by many treasured events, such as taking part in the organization of a new school, receiving class rings, publishing the first annual, preparing for graduation, and receiving diplomas. They ventured into life after commencement with diversified plans for the future. As the first graduating class left the halls of Mecklenburg Academy, they focused their attention on the past, the present, and the future. 14
