Faculty CHARLES H. MORGAN, HEADMASTER Univ. of Richmond, B.A. Duke, M.A. It is with deep and sincere thanks and appreciation to the parents, teachers, pupils, and Board of the Mecklenburg Academy for their efforts in making this a pleasant and profitable year for me. I am especially indebted to the Seniors for their cooperation and assistance. Wlien we reflect over the past few months, we see a small group of men and women with an idea and a vision. With that idea and vision they went to work. Now from the unbroken wasteland, an institution of learning is in progress. It is well built for service and comfort, and the instruction of children. It is a virtual monument to ingenuity, labor and sacrifice of these people. Now may this school continue to serve the people of this community, sponsoring high ideals in a Christian atmosphere. Again, I say thank you. 8
