Patrick M. Pederico Feds Going to parties at the pits is one of Feds pastimes, his favorite memories include Super- bowl 1984 and Mechanical Drawing I. Pat has played basketball all four years at MMS. JV foot- ball as a sophomore and junior, and also Varsi- ty as a senior. They’re such nice girls is a popular saying to Pat. Digger Gaughan is who Pat will miss most after graduation. In the future, Pat will be eating chicken wings and lis- tening to Van Malen at his job as an architectur- al engineer. John, best known as Lip, Lippy, or Mairlip, is one of the more outgoing and fun-loving mem- bers of the Class of '87. Me can be found mak- ing people laugh and making jokes. He loves eating chicken wings and watching Caddyshack or his all time late-night favorite. The Money- mooners.” Lip has participated in football, soc- cer, French Club, and Ski Club. Me also likes to waterski and hunt. Me can often be found wres- tling polar bears in the Antarctic, surfin the USA. and being out with his friends or with Erin. Mis favorite memories at MMS include gym in 10th grade, 11th period Social Studies with Mr. Gruber and the Mew York trip. Me liked that extra minute for homeroom, being King at the Prom. Valedictorian of his class, and butting' lunch lines as a senior. Lip hopes to attend Siena and own Real Estate. Spending money and going out with friends is what MJ does during her free time. She also enjoys shopping and riding around. Mer favorite show is Who's the Boss. She also likes the Scorpions. Boston, and Foreigner. While at- tending BOCES. Mary Jo was the class treasur- er for VICA Club. She also plans to attend a two year school for business, majoring in data pro- cessing. During her four years at MMS, she has had some exciting times which have given her great memories. The class trips to Boston and Mew York and Lake George 86 are just a few of these memories. The many study halls she has had during her last year is what she says is the best thing about being a senior. 22 Half Moon 87

Peach's long black hair stands out in any crowd, but she's best known for her academic accomplishments. These include the Bausch fir l omb Science Award, induction into all four honor societies, and participation in the Math Contest She was also in the Sock y of Distin- guished American high School Students. So- cially. Petra enjoyed Lake George, class pic- nics. pit parties, painting the wall, and football games. She was a cheerleader, and a member of Prench Club. SADD. the Gazette staff, half Moon ’87 and Student Council, her favorites are Gidget. family Ties 4 Top Gun. About Last night and Grease. Peach's going to miss West Point studyhalls and her friends, but hopes to be very happy at college where she plans to pursue a career in pediatrics. Peach Lynann. a bubbly cheerleader, was well- known for her baton twirling talent, foreign foods, creating mischief, and partying with friends are a few favorites of this Pink floyd fan. from ET to the Rocky horror Ficture Show. Lyn- ann enjoyed a great time and sick humor. After graduation, she plans to continue her educa- tion at hVCC and hopes to live a carefree live. Lynann M. Esposito Fred F. Doobs Tracy was actively involved during her four years at MMS. She was business manager for half Moon '86 and senior editor for half Moon '87. The president of the national honor Soci- ety. she was a member of all three honor soci- eties, Who's Who Among American high School Students and the Society of Distin guished American high School Students, her activities include Spanish Club. Ski Club, Rid- ing Club. SADD. ASAPP and chcerleading. her favorites include Cheers ' An Officer and a Gentleman, and lasagna. Tracy's style and friendly smile are welcomed in every crowd. Lake George, proms, and class day events were some favorites of this future Union College member. Seniors 21

One of the friendliest and most popular mem- ber of the senior class. Shannon held such of- fices as class president, French Club vice-presi- dent, and Student Council secretary. From Miss Treshman to Varsity Cheerleading. Shannon s great personality has complemented such groups as band, the Gazette Staff, and SADD. her honors include being In Who's Who. The Society of Distinguished American High School Students and editor-in-chief of half Moon '87. her favorites include fried clams, peanut butter ice cream, and Stand By Me. Class activities with her friends, proms, and Prof Slate s biology class are among her favor- ites. Shannon sees a four year college in her bright future. Shan Cathy's height may be short, but this girl's dreams take her to the stars since she hopes to be an engineer with MASA. Though her head may be in the clouds. Cathy's a down-to-earth girl who enjoys photography, running, and un- usual music. Participating in track, cross coun- try, SADD and Half Moon '86 and '87 hasn't stopped Cathy from dedicating enough of her time to her studies. Over the years, Cathy has been inducted into Omega. Alpha. Aiistoi, and the national Honor Society. She was also trea- surer of French Club and co-president of the MMS band. Track meets and nightly gatherings at Russell's have made Cathy's four years at MMS unique, but she is eager to move on to the new challenges and the excitement of college. Patrick's favorite TV show is Three's Com- pany. This is quite a difference from Rambo. his favorite movie. His taste in food ranges from pizza to steak. In his free time. Patrick enjoys riding dirtbikes. playing tennis, and riding his Quadsport. His future plans include going to HVCC. Someday he hopes to own his own Busch Brewery in Mechanicville.
