Dawn has been a very active member of the class of ’87. She has been an asset to our soc- cer team. She was on the 1983-1984 and 1985 Colonial Council All-Star Team and the Section II All-Star Team. She enjoys sports very much. During her free time she plays soccer, basket ball, softball, and tennis. One of her favorite memories is when the 1985 girls' soccer team won the sectionals and stayed in Middletown She also enjoys mud soccer games and going to Lansingburgh. Dawn plans to go to college for sports medicine. Walt's an avid outdoorsman who can be found running through the streets of Mechanic - ville or riding his bike throughout the area. Mis friends can often hear him saying Quiet! Settle down'' or kid s stuff in reference to Prof Ma- gee's MD class. Captain of the cross country team and an excellent wrestler, this athletic guy relaxes by listening to Bob Dylan or watching Cheers. Me enjoys hunting, fishing, and pick- ing on Mrs. Pickett. His favorites include hot meatball subs, slim Jims, and The Song Re- mains the Same. Walt's glad it's his last year and hopes to continue his running at Cortland. Walter Dingman Walt K Mike Mike's favorite hobbies range from building models and wrestling, to bowling, and eating chocolate chip cookies. Mike spends most of his free time going to movies, and his favorite is Back to the Future. Among his music favorites are Genesis and the Monkees. Me plans on a future in the field of computer programming. Mike is often heard saying Don't get me start- ed. Me also enjoys being able to do whatever he wants as a senior. 20 Half Moon '87

 Alexis Is one of the most spastic members of the Class of '87. She spends her free time party- ing with her friends and bike riding. Among her favorites are An Officer and a Gentleman. ' Per- fect Strangers, chicken parmcsan. and the group Journey. Alexis was a member of the JV basketball team as a freshman and sopho- more Her favorite thing about being a senior was having the BOCES bus wait for her when she was late. After graduation. Alexis plans to attend Rittner s School for Ploral Design. Deekers David A. DeFelice Debabs Debabs is one of the more unique members of the Cass of 1987. Mis driving reputation leaves a lot to be desired. Perhaps this is why people clear the streets at the sight of his Turbo with the Debabs license plate. Basically, ter- rifying pedestrians takes up most of his free time. Mis favorites include The Cosby Show'' and the well-known movie Animal house. along with Dokken and ZZ Top. Debabs participated in Red Raider Football all four years and the Ski Club in his senior year. Some of his best memo- ries of MMS are Lake George '86. the football games, and Prof Magee's class! Mike has been very active on the golf team at MMS and has earned himself a Varsity letter. Me says his favorite saying is Quiet! . yet his fa- vorite movie is Animal house! Mike will miss classes with Lippy and study halls the most after he graduates. Me comments that he wish- es he had studied during his four years. In the future. Peach's long black hair stands out in any crowd, but she's best known for her academic accomplishments. These include the Bausch fir l omb Science Award, induction into all four honor societies, and participation in the Math Contest She was also in the Sock y of Distin- guished American high School Students. So- cially. Petra enjoyed Lake George, class pic- nics. pit parties, painting the wall, and football games. She was a cheerleader, and a member of Prench Club. SADD. the Gazette staff, half Moon ’87 and Student Council, her favorites are Gidget. family Ties 4 Top Gun. About Last night and Grease. Peach's going to miss West Point studyhalls and her friends, but hopes to be very happy at college where she plans to pursue a career in pediatrics. Peach Lynann. a bubbly cheerleader, was well- known for her baton twirling talent, foreign foods, creating mischief, and partying with friends are a few favorites of this Pink floyd fan. from ET to the Rocky horror Ficture Show. Lyn- ann enjoyed a great time and sick humor. After graduation, she plans to continue her educa- tion at hVCC and hopes to live a carefree live. Lynann M. Esposito Fred F. Doobs Tracy was actively involved during her four years at MMS. She was business manager for half Moon '86 and senior editor for half Moon '87. The president of the national honor Soci- ety. she was a member of all three honor soci- eties, Who's Who Among American high School Students and the Society of Distin guished American high School Students, her activities include Spanish Club. Ski Club, Rid- ing Club. SADD. ASAPP and chcerleading. her favorites include Cheers ' An Officer and a Gentleman, and lasagna. Tracy's style and friendly smile are welcomed in every crowd.
