ART MHS has added to the Art Department the expertise of Mr. Gibeau. who teaches art to pupils in grades seven and eight. Mr. Gibeau is also our yearbook advisor, extending his artis- tic ability to supervise the publication of this book. Mrs. Decker, our high school art teach- er. has enjoyed working with many talented students in her years of teaching, and contin- ues to guide our artists toward perfection. Pic- tured left to right. HOME ECONOMICS Within the structure of Home Economics, sewing and cooking arc the basic courses of- fered. Both Miss Gardinicr and Mrs. Balda- saro teach seventh through twelfth grades, and say that they have seen an increased interest in the Home Economics field in the past year. MATH Our Math Department enjoys the addition of two teachers. Miss Boisvert, who teaches eighth grade Math, and Mrs. Gibcau. who teaches seventh grade. Mrs. Peterson. Mr. Bombardier. SCIENCE This year the Science Department wel- comed back the familiar faces of Mr Barge, and Mr. Wise, who is the advisor for S.A D.D. (Students Against Drunk Driving). Both Mrs. Bombardier and Mrs. Hoffman have taken groups to Coblcskill in the past, and as always our business students did well. READING Uorkmg together, Mrs. Zccca and Mrs. Boucher strive to sharpen the reading skills of our students at MHS. They use the best tech- niques and careful guidance to help make the most of their students abilities. From left to right Mrs Boucher. Mrs. Zccca. INDUSTRIAL ARTS Mr. Magee and Mr. Hickey teach a variety of courses involving the use of machinery and woodworking techniques. Both have obtained Associate of Applied Science and Bachelor of Science degrees. In addition to his teaching obligations. Mr. Magee has been both the Ski Club and Riding Club advisors for several years. PHYSICAL EDUCATION Mrs Maru and Mr. Stipano arc responsible for exposing our students to a variety of excit- ing and challenging sports.
