24 HALFMOON YEARBOOK, 1943 Aristoi The Class of 1943 has presented to Aristoi the largest number of candidates in many years. The new members were severely tested to sec if they were worthy of being members of the Honor Society. The Aristoi constitution was signed April 5. 1927. Due to the brilliancy of the class of '41 there was an amendment made to the constitution which will eventually raise the required average to 85 G. The present average is 84'». The pur)lose of the Aristoi Honor Society is to promote higher scholastic standing and better leadership in our school. Remember Aristoi is the plural of the Greek word Aristos, which means best. A member of Aristoi puts forth his best effort in whatever he undertakes, be it in school or in business of living.
