THE None of us know what the future wlll bring of course but there have been some very accurate calculations Space travel IS ln the near future Already satellites have been sent up unto space and rocket shlps have been made Have you really thought of the future concerning you? For some hugh school stu dents the future might concern plans for further education or the profession they plan to enter Others might be planning a new house car or even how to have a bet ter family or a happier llfe Whatever It IS they must plan for ut, because there are few people fortunate enough to have their dreams come true without any effort or plans on their part The world us full of people who go along from day to day without really making In school we not only learn our lessons, but we also learn to become good cntuzens, to work with one another and to enloy one anothers company You can look at lt from a thousand different angles, but you always come up with the same answer, high school IS beneficial Many students quit school nowadays and thunk nothing of It They wlll probably goto work un the shoe shop and make forty dollars a week That seems luke a lot of money to them forty dollars go have children? work In a shoe tuon wall help you get a higher position now, but how far wnll the when they get married and Even If you are going to shop, a hugh school educa People look at the opportumtses you have before you Choose your own field of member one thing whether you plan to become a scientist a business man or lust a common laborer you should finish hugh school You may not thunk me right now but nn time l believe you wall FUTURE BRING? any specufic plans These people say that they are getting along all right and that IS all that really counts That may be true, but are these people, or any other people, really certam of what the future will bring, or what will become of them and their families? Many people dream of the future as a life of ease which as full of push button de vlces to make life and work easier They dream of magnificent cuties with flying cars and streamlined skyscrapers, or other awe mspmng dreams of what the future holds In order for such wonderful dreams to come true however someone must plan and cre ate each device before It can become a reality Whether or not you are one of these people to plan for these devuces and for the future remains to be seen That someone could be you' I. . Now, in this year of 'l958, that worry has reached a new and dangerous high Why is It that some adults think that the words Teenager ancl Juvenile Delm quent are Interchangeable? These adults are more than willing to admit that there are some rotten apples in each barrel and yet all teenagers are condemned for the actions of a few lt is possible that teenagers of this mod ern age appear more reckless and more daring than teens of the past Most adults look back on their youth as a time for fun They remember the Charleston or Big Apple and Rudy Vallee or when Frank nfs MM ny 4 2 tif is lm 'ef I time af 6 SQ iii' 2' ,E M 54... 46-,af was Skinny Frankie Boy .
