The first sight of the halls With rows and rows of the tombs of books And everywhere a freshman looks The shadow of a senior falls First homecoming, different and new The cheering of the oval's flight And laugh into the glowing night Dance away minutes all too few First Snow-day, bright red glowing face A paradise of blades with silver glow Chipping crystal and slashing snow Trees adorned in finest lace The second dawn, the second year No longer the babes, the youngest ones We're older now, it's much more fun Gone the newness, gone the fear WE'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER That cupidgram from that special one A melody of love divine Just to say, Will you be mine? A smile, a blush, a lot of fun The wheel of fortune stops at three Junior year with things to do Time to plan the future too And take your lessons seriously Out of the mystic land called night A splash of color and aching feet A banquet served, a feast complete To make the J.S. Prom just right Now the end is the beginning Meet again, we do not know Sad, yet happy as we go To seek the things that are worth winning
