Mr. John Wooley To the memory of Iohn Wooley we co-dedicate this 1954 annual. It was a great shock to all of us when Mr. Wooley passed away last Au- gust. Mr. Wooley was assistant prin- cipal at MA for two years and was to go to Murray as Principal this year. He received his B.A. degree at Macalester College and did grad- uate Work at the University of Min- nesota. After receiving his M.A. de- gree at the University of California, he taught sixth and twelfth grade students Social Studies, Biology and Science. Four years were spent in the Navy as a Medic and then a year and a half was spent as a vet- erans' counselor. He was an assist- ant principal for Five years-three at Murray, two at Mechanics. Those who had the troubles found that Mr. Wooley could al- ways find a few minutes of his busy schedule to talk things over in an understanding way.
