MISS TURNBULL lt is with deep affection and keen appreciation that we co-dedicate this year's M annual to Miss Margaret Turnbull. She is one of the pioneers of Mechanic Arts and by her untiring efforts was responsible, in part, for making it a success. Her decision to retire this spring was o shock to us all. Although she has well earned the rest, we shall miss her, not only as a splendid teacher and an inspirational leader but as a beloved friend. Miss Turnbull, who is a graduate of Macalester College, has taught English at Me- chanic Arts since l9l8 and she was the senior class advisor for the class of 1924. Miss Turnbull has always been friendly, patient, unselfish and ready to extend an encouraging word to her students. l am not only speaking from my own experience but for the entire student body and faculty, for we are certainly proud to be one of her friends. We would all like to thank her publicly for her outsanding piece of work while at Mechanic Arts High School. Page three
