Those that cooperated in the Christmas as- sembly were the art, music, clothing, speech, and drama departments. Other assemblies included our pep assemblies that gave all the students a chance to cheer our teams on in battle. The assembly promoting advan- tages ot the rifle club will long be remembered for its originality. Others which added to our education and amuse- ment were the professional University assemblies on training horses and dogs and portions from the mu- sical stage play Kiss Me, Kate.

Mechanic Arts, during its 55 years at existance, has graduated many successful students. The success ot those students is credited partly to the expert guidance and instruction which we, the students, receive trom our faculty. Miss Olson, Miss O'Brien, Miss Swift, Miss Copley, Miss O'Connor, Miss Maosbrugger. Miss Billings. consisting of English, social studies, mathematics, languages and sciences, but a general course, com- mercial subjects and many vocational classes.
