We have tried to include in the book all the phases of school life that it is possible to photograph. Teachers and adminis- trative officials, English classes and chemistry experiments, pop- corn sales and sunlight dances, elusive halfbacks and sprinting dashmen, varsity coaches and student managers, quiet students and snooping reporters, laughing couples and husky loafers,--all have been caught by the tell-tale camera. In the library as well as in some seventy odd class rooms, boys and girls bend over history books, thumb the pages of reference books, struggle with math problems, search Webster's unabridged dictionary for just the right word . . all following the routine of the day, yet each developing along the line of his individual interests. From the conglomerate crowds which pass in and out of class rooms . . .... . . .
