' Betty Toney wills her boy friends to Frances Kelsheimer. Bill Wolfe wills his slowness to Dale Gerrish. Betty Rae Walters wills her steady boy friend to Pauline McCreary. William Myers wills his working ability to Gene McDermott. , We hereby appoint J'. W. Conlin, principal of Mecca High School to be the executor without bond, of this our last will and testament, and we hereby revoke all former wills and testamentary instruments. SENIOR CLASS PR OPHECY One rainy spring morning in 1960, I was browsing about my office in New York when my secretary entered saying that a very impressive looking gentleman wished to see me. He claimed he was an old friend. Of course, many persons tried to gain audience with me through this alibi and I was somewhat inclined to disbelieve it, however, I had Kilroy, the secretary, show him in. As the stranger entered, wearing an old red sweater with a dirty white M on it, I remembered. Why it's Howard. What brought you here? I asked. Well, he replied, my wife and I decided to get out a book on the doings of all our old classmates, what they were doing, you know. We did, and I am going around selling them. They are only two dollars - - -I ---------- ' ' And how is Madonna? Madonna? he repeated blankly. Oh, didn't you hear? She jilted me and entered the movies. The girl I married was Mary Jane. Well, well, I said brightly, though I was dazed, I'll buy a book and read it this morning. He handed it to me and left shortly afterward. The book was interestingg yes, indeed, and well written. Senior Class Prophecy QCont.l Pat Cooke is now a nurse in Chicago. She is planning to marry John Secondino soon. The celebrated speaker, Joan Guoli, has her own station now. It is located between Clinton and Terre Haute. Her husband, noted as Uncle Dan,'Y reads the funnies over the air each Sunday morning. Rosemary Harmon is teaching social studies in Terre Haute where her husband, John Haughee is coach. Norma Jean LaPrees is married to Joe Walter Murphy. She has twin gir1s. A complete school of music has been founded by Rosemary Murphy It is located at her home in Washington D. C. Donald Haughee is a basket-ball coach in Greencastle. Bob Harpold was graduated from Rose Poly, and is ,now with a large engineering company in Washington. Marka Richardson is living a quiet life with her husband, David Presslor, and children. Betty Toney was graduated from beauty college and now has her own shop in Springfield, Illinois. . Betty Rae Walters was graduated from Indiana State, and has been teaching in Rockville for the past six years. Bob Murphy has bought a small restaurant in Clinton, but is on the verge of bankruptcy because he enjoys eating. Fred Robertson was graduated from Purdue, and is now one of the largest farmers in the Wabash Valley. , Bennie Morlan has opened a printing office 'in Mecca where he pub- lishes the Mecca Gazette once a week. p Bill Wolfe is a boss in one of the canning factories in Virginia. William Myers is helping Bennie with the Mecca Gazette. Ted McArty has just completed his internship at Metnodist Hos- pital in Indianapolis and expects to begin his practice in Mecca soon. I was glad to hear of my friendsg certainly I was relieved that their high school training had stood them in such good stead.
