Girls in Wesco Girls tennis closed the season with a 12-2 record placing second in WESCO, next to Shorline and Oak Harbor. First singles player Lori Blevins played a good strong game with second position filled by Lucinda Langg Lucin- da and Lori advanced to third round in the Edmonds district. Doubles were covered well by first team Dara Saxby and lanette Nelson and second team Michelle Marcques and Sharma VanSaun. thletes achieve awesome feats Meadowdale's Letter Club made an effort in 1980-1981 to unite lettermen and letterwomen of all sports. Mr. Martin and Mr. Nagel guided the club, which is a school service organization. The club's activities included maintaining the trophy case and selling sweatshirts to raise funds. They also purchased the 1980 Washington State Championship Banner for the baseball team, which is now in the gym. Letter Club was led by President Dave Malnes, Vice- President Howard Treat, Secretary Michelle Marlin, and Treasurer Terry Heys. Q ...K ,K K rf 50 Letter Club
