M S , Girls olleyball shows tenacity Our girl's volleyball team bumped and spiked its way to victory in 5 out of 13 matches this fall, in a fun season characterized by an especially well-rounded team and good quality volleyball both offensively and defensively. With the confident leadership of team captains Mary Marlin and Vicki Hartling, the team showed all the en- thusiasm, competitive spirit, and tenacity that we have come to expect of the Chief's girls. Coach julie Rowe anticipates an even better season next year, with six of the eleven varsity players and a number of junior varsity girls returning with experience and skill to carry Chief's victories on with style!
