1980-81 Swim team filled with talent 1980-81 swim team Left corner to Right corner, Steve Scarbro, Nate Wegamer Robby Wassell, Norm Hull Paul Thompson, Eric Stark, Brent Eschrich, Bob White, Tyler Schemost, Curt Francis, Tom Wlpp Rob Olmstead Scott Hansen, jeff Wilson, lim Baratto. QNot pictured, Phil Anderson, Thor Everhart, Doug Bambrick Q The 1980-81 swim team was up to their gills in strong, experienced boys for the new season. Everything from the breaststroke to the backstroke was covered by capa- ble swimmers. Four seniors, which includes co-captains Doug Bambrick and Phil Anderson, rounded out the lunior dominating team. Diving is where sophomores dominate with lim Baratto at its helm. This year's team was lacking the depth of good swim- mers as last years WESCO contenders but were well rounded in talent. The team shows a great 1981-82 sea- son with more than half of the swimmers returning. 96 Boys Swimming

Wrestlers provide strong mat pla The 1980-'81 wrestling squad has surprised many peo- ple. Many of the varsity wrestlers last year have graduat- ed, leaving many holes to fill, but it has not been a real challenge to the squad. A few of the returning lettermen are Clive Cooper, Brad Folsom, Bruce Quinton, Todd Patsy, and team captain Skip Kramer. Two individuals had outstanding performances at the Edmonds District wrestling tournament this year. Sopho- more Scott Cook took first place in the 122 pound weight division, while Bruce johnson won the unlimited weight class title. The entire team is full of aggressive performers and this is what puts them high on top a pedestal by their loyal fans. 98 Boys Wrestling
