“Still climbing After knowledge infinite” Marlowe Auto Shop Cinnamon-flavored aromas emerged from behind the closed door of the cooking class, and, in the woodshop, the sharp tang of fresh saw- dust fought with the heavy smell of crankcase oil and carburator fuel. The wide schedule of classes offered by Meadowdale during 1966-67 emphasized the rapid growth of experience and capabilities in both the student body and the faculty. The History department added a new one - semester class, Russian History, and also began a non-graded Contem- porary Problems course. Drama students, instructed by Mr. Crossett, created and perfected ‘‘animal personalities’, and the Meadowdale Phy- siology class, the only one offered in the district, spent long hours on frog dissections and anatomical charts. The business, language, home economics, wood shop, auto mechanics, and physical education depart- ments again presented an even finer variety of courses and electives. In both college preparatory and vocational classes, students worked with teachers to make 1966-67 not only a year of enjoyment, but a year of academic success.
