“... to teach him to creep till he knows how to climb.” O'Reilly A group of exhausted students paused to examine their work. From the high steel beams of the sophomore hall dangled scores of nylons, and wool stockings taped to walls and windows formed the words “Sock the Tigers’. From the first tremendous moment of entering high school, the class of 1969 had pride and spirit that quickly impressed the upperclassmen and faculty. Early in the year, the sophomores created an important self-respect and determination that encouraged the entire class to reach high toward success. A class yell, the first notable achievement of the sophomore class, was enthusiastically per- formed at each pep assembly, which not only furthered class pride but also strengthened their contribution to Meadowdale. After a year of growth and adjustment, the class of ‘69 prepares to move upward toward increased spirit and responsibility in 1967-1968. Sophomore class officers are President Ken Ralph, Vice President Linda Doty, Secretary Cindy Dart, and Treasurer Sally Lager.
