9RODUCTIVE SEASON After attracting larger crowds with each exciting match, the Chief wrestlers completed their regular season with an excellent record of 7 wins and 5 loss- es. At the end of the season, the grapplers again per- formed very well by placing 3rdin the sub-district meet. Even though the team began the season with only two returning lettermen, Senior team captain Steve Meyer and Junior Bob Scharer, their drive and determination proved to be the key in achieving their goals of success. Head coach Mr. Bruce Cook and as- sistant Mr. Terrance Johnson, as well as the whole student body, had reason to be proud of the winning efforts put out by the Meadowdale High wrestlers. Next year the wrestling squad will bring back eight lettermen. With their experience and the benefit of a respectable 1966-1967 season behind them, thei representation of Meadowdale should be exceptional. Bruce Farley sits out on his Blanchet opponent.
