WRESTLING 1965-1966 Coach Cook urges his team on to victory during Terface mach. The regular season for the Meadowdale wrestling team contained many high spots and ended in great success. Under the able guidance of Mr. Bruce Cook, assistant Mr. Terrance Johnson and led by undefeated Captain Steve Delong, the Chief wrestlers won 8, lost 3 and drew 1. Losing only one match against Bellingham and tying one in league competi-: tion, the team placed second in the Western Conference. One of the most thrilling matches of the year was a 24-24 tie with arch-rival Edmonds. With four returning lettermen and several experienced J.V. members, Meadowdale Senior High School will be well represented next year in wrestling.
