As the months went by, | became familiar with American life and Americans. People in my country all think of Americans with great big houses, at least two cars and lots of money in the bank. The CHIEFTAIN also provides an opportunity for the staff to explore Journalism as a career. | The CHIEFTAIN is self- supporting; during the first ten weeks of the first semester, the CHIEFTAIN was able to pur- chase an electric typewriter from advertising receipts. The CHIEFTAIN has expanded from a four-page mimeographed paper to an offset publication of up to twelve pages, pub- lished twice monthly.
