We can be reasonably proud of the effort put forth in creating an active Girls ' Club this year. The new Girls ' Club office gave them a center of communication where they planned for the many activities that they sponsored. Among these were the successful Tolo, Ye Olde Lamplighter; the canned food drive; and the Mother-Daughter Tea. A bake sale and car wash helped to increase their budget. Squaw Squawk and a Girls ' Club creed were among the projects undertaken by this group. Girls’ Club Sue Terry, Gail Scarr, and advisor. Miss Buz¬ zard help paint lamp posts for use at the Tolo. 34

An effective organization working out of ASB, the STUDENT STANDARDS COMMITTEE dealt with school problems and established rules of conduct for the student body. One of the distinguished guests who vis¬ ited Meadowdale during the year to tell the student body about his native land and some of the customs observed there. Studying and co-operation are vital parts making up the routines of most of the student body of Meadowdale. ' ll

Boys’ Club School spirit has been an important factor in promoting activities for Boys ' Club this year. This spirit was proven by their victory over Girls ' Club in the canned Food Drive. In¬ formative assemblies and interesting activities have been the goals of Boys ' Club. Its officers and members have proven themselves worthy of achieving these goals. A Boys ' Club volun¬ teer, Paul Beals, helps with the dec¬ orations for Tolo. From left to right: Boys ' Club officers: Mike Buchmeier, Sec.-Treas.; George Krizan, Pres.; Jim Coan, Vice-Pres.
