As the 1980-1981 Softball team progressed into a somewhat rainy season, its overall record was 9-4. In the league the team ' s record was 4-1 and due to rain the season had run past its May 18th deadline. At the spring tournament at Fairmont West, Meadowdale received a trophy for second place. This year Carolyn Pavelka was awarded Most Valuable Player, Kelli Mack, Most Hustle Award, and Karmen Mack, Most Improved Award. Leaving this year ' s ball club is Senior Cheryl Bowers. SPRING SPORTS BANQUET Spring ' s Sports Banquet was held Monday, June 2 in the Lion ' s den cafeteria. Plenty of food and drink, as usual, accompanied the many awards.
