It started to show The day of the Sceptre slide show, it showed when the whole student body and staff was asked to give Meadowbrook a round of applause for be- ing a pretty special place. They did. It also popped up when the students purchased 756 ’81 Sceptres. It also showed up when the visiting Evaluation Committee walked the halls in late fall and men- tioned a closeness between faculty and students that ‘“couldn’t have been faked.” The it that showed was not like a burst of fire- works, it was more like a comfortable feeling, not forced, often noticable because of an absence of bad feelings between differing groups and a will- ingness to admit that ‘differences were allowed.” SN Ahh... relaxation! During halftime at a J.V. foot- ball game John Hunt takes a rest from the field action. There you are!
