Miss Maxine Moore This is the house of eternal youth and I'm growing younger everyday. On April 13, 1965, the Senior Class presented Mama's Baby Boy”. It was a comedy concerning the age old problem of people trying to disguise their age. After Mr. Long and Mrs. McClean made their children dress as 12 and 13 year olds the plot became even funnier when the children's young friends, the maid and Mrs. McClean's mother dressed as 12 year olds, also. Mr. Long s and Mrs. McClean's ages finally were discovered when Mrs. Anglin came on the scene revealing not only their ages but their financial positions. 25 But, he's been dead for twenty years! exclaimed Gennie. Martha exclaimed, Bridget, I forbid you to open that Tower door!” Maybe Marcel went up into the tower. . . . Well, she might have wanted to catch the ghost, Bridget said. JUNIOR CLASS PLAY On November 20, 1964, the Junior Class presented a three act mystery-comedy play entitled Spooks Alive . Professor Rockby and his family decided to spend their summer vacation in an abandoned house. After many mysterious things had happened the family decided that the house was haunted. It came to a climax when they discovered the identity of the ghost that haunted the house. Professor’Rockby . Martha Rockby . . . Gennie Rockby . . . Doug Rockby . . . . Bridget Rockby . . All right, juniors, get down to business! Remember the play is tonight! said Mrs. Rhodus, director. All he said was that I looked like somebody else and he had to find some gift to give me to atone for his sins, explained Marcel. 27 JODENE HALSEY ANDTERRY STOUT CROWNED QUEEN AND KING 28 The King’s and Queen’s crowns were used as a centerpiece at the Royalty table. Each sport was represented by a silhouette of a player. Stars, representing the participants in the sport, surrounded each silhouette. The pep club sponsors. Final Game With Rage Brings A The Meadow Grove football team had a disappointing season this year. Due to the lack of depth and experience they won only one game. Terry Stout was the only senior out this year. Next year the season should be very successful, because there will be mostly juniors and seniors playing, and all of them have had experience. Gale Williams, this year was voted All Conference defensive and offensive player and also All State defensive player. Duane Blair and Terry James received honorable mention at the All Conference meeting. 36 onSored by HOFMANN PHARMACY, tilden, Nebraska THIS PAGE SPONSU ’ T-25 for Victory Terry Stout’s hand off to Gale Williams. Part of the reason for the losing season was due to the losses to Brunswick and Tilden each by a score of 58 to 60. The boys did manage to beat Belden and Oakdale. Next year should be a better season for the boys as most of the players will be juniors and seniors.
