It is our sincere desire to express to him our deepest gratitude and appreciation for the good influences he has had over our high school days. It is with the deepest satisfaction that the Annual Staff presents this 1953-54 edition of The Trojan . Our endeavor is to give you a fond remembrance of the days spent in Meadow Grove High School. We hope you will enjoy journeying through the pages of this annual as much as we, the Annual Staff, have enjoyed compiling and publishing it. SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE These are days of unrest, uncertainty, and unfulfilled dreams. But are they, after all, anymore uncertain than the thousands of years that have already passed? In order for us as participants in the affairs of the Meadow Grove Public Schools to achieve rest, certainty, and fulfillment of dreams, we must strive every year to conduct ourselves in a manner which will develop our skills, test our beliefs, challenge our best, and improve our code. These goals are best achieved at the present time through conscientious attention to school, play, work, and religious beliefs. It is the purpose of the 1954 Trojan to show how these goals have been achieved in part if not entirely. H. W. Adams
