LDedication TO THOSE WHO SERVE We Seniors of ’43 are privileged to dedicate this annual to the gallant service men of this nation. The “Trojan” is representative of our school life and of the things that we have known and enjoyed throughout our high school years. Our schooling does not consist of marching, worshipping a single man or an “education for death.” It consists of the development of ideals and principles—faith in those principles. It includes independent thinking and appreciation of beauty and heroism. We are duly gratified for this chance to show our appreciation of the struggle of these men to keep alive these principles of a most precious right—that of free education.
