In the fall we had the subscription campaign, then we arranged picture taking sessions, snapped candids, recorded all school activities, sent bills and typed. We used time after school or in the evening to identify pictures, crop them, rite copy, block in pages and meet deadlines. DAN HENNING And So It Goes A Big Thank You to our Advertisers and Patrons. Without you there would not be a Monte Meade. We are most ap- preciative of your continued support and, also, are confident that our readers will continue to buy from you and patronize your business. Special Appreciation to those few students who worked long hours selling advertisements and Monte Meade subscriptions. Special thanks to the mothers, MRS. McCLINTIC, MRS. PACK, MRS. REYNOLDS, MRS. EWING, MRS. WHITT, MRS. TAYLOR, MRS. BENNETT, MRS. McCOIN, MRS. SURFACE, MRS. GWINN, and MRS. HUNNICUTT who helped with advertising solicitation. To Our Readers it is hoped that the Monte Meade has recorded your high school memories through the copy and pictures of this yearls events. We know that without this book your memories would bejust that - simply memories and very easily forgotten. Most people have no idea the difficulty of planning, coordinating, organizing and producing a yearbook but thanks to the talent, cooperation, hard work and persistence of a very few people, the pictures were taken, ads were sold, the subscription drive was a semi-success, pages were designed, typed and deadlines were met. We feel the long hours spent paid off in the form of the book you are now holding. were proud of the 1987 Monte Meade! Enjoy for years to come!
