Valentine's Dance Don't Break Hearts, Break-dance! This year marked the first annual Valen- tines' Dance at Meade. There were approx- imately 150 people at the dance, which was sponsored by the sophomore class. The sophomores earned over S300 for their class through the dance. Many new trends could be seen at the event, such as break-dancing, wave dancing and chucks , which are high- topped basketball shoes. The DJ for the dance was Kevin Terry, a sophomore who also demonstrated the break-dance for the crowd. A A A Lights flashed as students danced to the music of the first Valentines Dance.
