Willie Rempel has the honorable position of principal of K. B. A. For a few years Elizabeth Classen taught home economics at the academy, but now she is teach- ing her own daughters the preliminaries of housekeeping. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Loewen own a large, modern farm in Meade. Mr. Loewen works actively for the academy; he is the chairman of the school board. One of their sons is an academy senior. In the city of Meade there is a sign, directing you to Ea1s Studio . The owner is Edwin Wiens, a flourishing photo- grapher. Roy Regier is the proprietor of an ultra-modern electric shop in bodge City. Extensive rural electrification has been a great boom for his business. Erwin Wiens, an outstanding athlete, is coach and athletic director at the Friends College in Haviland, Kansas. His Christian testimony has a marked influence on his teams. The owner of the Western Star ranch in Arizona, Wilmer Classen, has become a distinguished person among cattlemen. His wife shares his pride of owning the largest and best herd of longhorn cattle in the vicinity. Herbert Enns has gained renown as a singing evangelist for the Youth for Christ. His home in Los Angeles is brightened by his wife, a native Californian, and their gentlemanly son. In the cold, desolate land of Alaska Margaret and Sarah Friesen are serving as missionaries. Margaret is teaching child evangelism classes; and Sarah, a registered nurse, is taking care of the sick in this frigid region. Raymond Friesen has found a place among the car dealers in Kansas City. Judging by his spacious home, he must be a very successful dealer. The director of the Youth for Christ at Kansas City is none other than Walter Friesen. Through the years Walter has lost no enthusiasm for singing and testifying of the unsearch- able riches of Christ. Kew volleyball rules were taught, and the girl:: vied with each other to become the champion player. Just about the time the girls athlet'ic committee decided we vere ready to play an intra-mural game, weather conditions changed so it vms not possible. The games had to be postponed till spring. During, the winter months the time was spe t playing ping oong. A few ping pong tournaments have been played. Some of the rirls became skillful players. Alma Classen Is our champion; Mvina Isaac, Verna Fiebert, and kosella Loewen rate very close to her. The secpnd semester some of the girls became interested in basket-ball. Since Mias Loewen had never coached basket- ball before and very few of the girls had ever ployed it, the games wore very amateur. However, if plans materellze, s girls' basketball court will be provided which will enable us to improve our playing. The present girls' physical education program is merely a beginning. For the future there are many new plans. - G. 0, .mOTTO1.,1 's a yww w .
