Meadowlark Lemon Duane up for two The Mead Boys’ Basketball Team had only one returning starter from last year, but they still had an impressive season. The first highlight was 2nd place in the Mead Holiday Tourna- ment. Second, was receiving the runner-up trophy in the ECNC Conference Tournament and 1st in the Conference. Finally, becoming the District Cham- pions, giving the Raiders a chance to play Omaha Cathedral in the C-l-C-2 Regional game at Elkhorn. Here the great season ended with a record of 17-6. Four players were named to the ECNC Con- ference teams: Arlin Johnson — 1st team, Craig Moline — 2nd team, Jamey Nygren and Tom Simon on Honorable Mention. Mead 58 Ft.
